Wanted the aesthetic of a retro sci-fi illustration to evoke a time when the popular imagery of 3D and VR was still (mostly) hand-drawn, and taken from the imagination.

 

Just for fun, I used a parallel projection camera to flatten the composition and make something more… aesthetically pleasing.

Lighting and renders in Cinema4D, post processing in Photoshop.
